- Heather has had a successful background performing in the entertainment industry in her earlier career as a singer, dancer, and actor, followed by success within Human Resources at a corporate level and subsequently working in child care delivery prior to owning her own tutoring business supporting educational goals for students. These past experiences helped to shape the philosophy that has become so respected in her journey towards establishing River City Gymnastics and Dance Academy.
- Heather’s interest in Gymsports initially developed as a parent of two daughters who started their gymnastics careers in Rhythmic Gymnastics and later Aerobics.
- Over time, these interests led her to gain her coaching qualifications as Advanced Coach and Intermediate judge in RG. Heather is the Head Coach for River City Gymsports and Head of Studio for Dance.
- Heather was the Australian Coach at the Rhythmic Gymnastics FIG World Cup, Spain 2018 and Club Coach at the RG LA Lights and Vegas Competitions in the USA.
- Over 8 years ago these interests and skills led Heather to open her own club where she has championed a culture of excellence based in a nurturing focus.
- It is with pride Heather has had recognition for the achievements within the club for both staff and students receiving multiple achievement awards.
